the way we all sabotage
our very own peace of mind.
And the district manager was visiting, as well as a district manager in training. And the Salon Director saw me and was like, wait. Don’t tan. So I sat down and he went outside and talked to the DM and DMIT.
They all came back in and were like, do you mind talking to us for a second? Of course, since I had just gotten out of class, I was super dressed up and looked like a million bucks (sarcasm, at its finest). But I was like sure. So I got to interview with not only the SD, but two way more important people than him. And then they had me role play, which, if you recall, was what I did NOT want to do.
I hated selling stuff to Blythe, let alone my SD.. LET ALONE an SD, DM, and DMIT I didn’t even know. But after I was done the DM high fived me and said she was very impressed. So I’m impressed with myself, just a little.
And then they said I would hear back from them at the end of the week. Well they left and the SD was like, come here. So I went to his office and he said you can start Monday at $7.50 (.25 more than when I left..) and I’m looking for a key holder, so that can happen as soon or as far away as you show me you’re trustworthy, if you’re interested in that.
IT HAS BEEN A VERY GOOD DAY, KIDS.
